Patrick has left Singapore last night.
Approximatley, 1am this morning.
Off he goes embarking on a heightened career in Beijing.
I'm glad i didn't stop him.
It's something he has always wanted and worked so hard for.
I kinda stood rooted not knowing how i should say a proper "goodbye".
Without the tears and all.
At the departure gate, after his mum hugged him a warm goodbye, he reached out to me gently.
A soft giggle escaped from me. Confused with a mixture of sadness and thrill.
He hugged me gently but firm, and a soft peck on my lips before we broke apart.
Vio-la~..."..that wasn't so tough isn't it? - i thought to myself.
My eyes fixed on his back as he stopped at the electronic computers to have his passport checked before he moved on.
His parents began to walk off, i took the que and followed with my head turning past my shoulders to catch a glimpse of him.
Patrick knew. He always does.
Each time he sends me home, i'll be waiting by the windows waving goodbyes till he gets into the car or a cab.
He never fails to look up and wave back.
And, so he did.
It wouldn't be long till i see him again, that's if i am certain that i'll be visiting during June.
At least i'll pack my days with activities to keep my mind from wandering.
He has been such a doting boyfriend and i wish i'll grow old with him.
